Busy couple of days on this list! A few brief points:

The firewall thread is going to be trimmed before it turns into another
full-scale war about commercial products vs. Linux/*BSD freebies. Info
about specific scenarios involving specific products on MS platforms will
be approved, not much else will. We already went through all this a few
months ago, if you're new to the list and want to see the discussion feel
free to browse the archives at:

http://www.securityfocus.com/frames/?focus=microsoft&content=/templates/archive.pike%3flist=88

Secondly, please please pay attention to your Out Of Office replies, I am
getting bombarded by these every time I post, and I'm sure everyone else
is too. If nothing else, at least set them to reply to only the 'Reply
To:' address, that way only I get bothered and not every single
poster. Anyone who sends an OOO in response to Focus-MS traffic will have
their account options set to 'nomail'. You will have a notice in your
mailbox when you get back that this has been done, to turn delivery back
on, send an email to listservsecurityfocus.com (NOT
focus-mssecurityfocus.com, that won't work) with the line:

SET FOCUS-MS MAIL

in the body of the message. Anyone who posts to this list and gets OOO
replies because of it is hereby invited to forward those replies to me,
and they will be handled.

On a more positive note, I am absolutely thrilled with the success of this
list. There have been some very good conversations here, and I and
hopefully everyone have learned a few things. Thank you for your
participation and your interest.

Thank you,
Ben Greenbaum
