I did apply several post-SP6a hotfixes to many SP5 systems. The specific
post-SP6a hotfixes were for NDISwan and the NTKRNL. Worked fine.

Hi,

Is it possible to apply Post SP6/a hotfixes to a SP5 NT4 ?
Or is that vulnerability just not present yet as SP6/a has not yet been
applied ?

Reason i ask is I have someone who wont apply SP6 because its claimed it
causes problems for Cold Fusion. So I have compiled a list of post SP5
HotFixes and am wondering now whether I also ought to include post sp6
fixes too.

Subject: Hot Fixes & Patches post SP5 and prior to SP6

Hi all,

I have a contractor putting some NT machines on our PerimNet
who cant install SP6a. Apparently they cause a problem with
Cold Fusion 4.5.1. So I need to find a list of the HotFixes/Security
patches released since SP5 - which he can install - upto the release date
of SP6, so I can provide him a selective list of those recommended patches
and HotFixes.

Try as I might I cant seem to find such a list of or links to these.
Everything on the MS download pages seems to be relative to release
of SP6a.

Can anyone help or recommend ?

Also where does that leave me with Security and Critical Updates
released since SP6/a - can these then be installed or will this
likely cause problems as SP6/a has not been installed ?
