Hi.
I've been asked to do an audit of a few NT apps boxes that were setup by
someone else. Indications are that security wasn't a priority. I intend to
rectify this. I'm primarily interested in data and access security
although I'm also looking out for any other important issues. We all know
that security is easier to implement from the beginning that to impose a
long way into a server's life-cycle. I'm not too worried - I know how to
secure an NT box.
I'm emailing you guys for any advice / resources you can
suggest in terms of the best way to systematically audit an NT box. I want
to go into this with a well planned procedure so that I don't miss
anything.
Best regards,
Conall
