We run SP5 on our PDC and we run SP4 on our BDC, the "main software
program" on the BDC restricts us from upgrading service paks. The
vendor will not support it if we do. However, they run fine together
with no problems with different service paks.

Subject: Different SP's on domain controllers?
We've recently applied SP6a and relevant hotfixes to all machines on our
network. Afterwards, one of our applications running on a BDC started
to
have some problems. Tech support for the app suggest that it is a
SP6-related issue, and recommends that we run the program on a SP5
machine.
If we uninstall SP6a, that would put the BDC at SP5, while the PDC would
be
at SP6a. First, are there any issues related to having the BDC at a
different SP-level than the PDC? Second, are there issues related to
uninstalling SP6a to SP5, such as there were with uninstalling SP5 to
SP4?
