Hi

there is a way round this under linux but i do not know enough
about the windows ppp system to help you here but only the protocol
with ppp when it connects you can tell the remote end not to send certin
charecters down the serial line but instead send them in an encoded format
this can be done under linux using the asyncmap option to ppp

does anyone know about the soloution for windows ? or how to go about
doing this under window ?
