Jeff,
The way we do this is to make a DNS reservation for every mac address (read
that as computers) that we own. We then reserve all other IP's. This way
ONLY those machines we know about can get an IP.

Subject: Blocking MAC Addresses
Hello...
We currently have a problem at one of out remote locations. It
appears that an employee is brining their HOME laptop into work because she
is not able to load programs on her restricted NT workstation. Is is
possible for me to block her MAC address so that its given a bogus
non-routerable IP address when she sends out a broadcast for an address?
Please help.. thanks
