I'd be careful about logging to SQL Server. In IIS 4.0, it was specifically
contraindicated. Oracle or another large database tool is better.

IIS can log to a SQL (MS SQL that is) server... You could use that and
query it for specific entries.
I have not done this myself (yet), but I plan on having our Internet and
intranet servers log to our SQL 2000 server here shortly.
