I have plenty of space, and would be delighted to host this for "us"
as a group. Send me the file, and let me test it here since I'm building a
secure build RIGHT NOW :) and we'll go from there.
I think MS has already done this for IIS5/Win2k no? If not, let's
see if we can build one for Win2k as well.
I would further like to ask how everyone feels about
"windowsupdate.microsoft.com"...is it even worth doing?

Subject: NT/IIS hotfixes
On the subject of scripts that apply Service Pack 6a and patches, I've just
finished putting together a set of .cmd files that apply SP6a and relevant
hot fixes to NT and IIS4.0.
I have a 88MB zipfile available that contains the scripts and all the files
from SP6a and the hotfixes, ready to run. If anyone has space available to
host the download I can send on the whole file to make it available for
The scripts are basically modifications of all the really useful "securing
NT" scripts that were created by SecurityFocus and others on the list, and I
would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who created them originally.
I've attached a zip file that contains just the .cmd files and the
readme.txt for general review.
Any suggestions and comments are always welcome, and I hope that some of you
will find them interesting and useful.
