I'm not sure about the scripting option you asked about, but here is how to
reset the password to a blank (no password).
The supervisor password is held in the registry. That is why uninstalling
and reinstalling will not fix it. The key is as follows:
HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\Windows\Current
Version\Policies\Ratings
there will be a key there labelled "key", (original ain't it?). That key
holds the encrypted content advisor Supervisor password.
Delete that key.
That will set the Content Advisor Password to blank. Then you can go in and
disable the ratings.

Subject: Internet Explorer Content Advisor Password
Hello -
I'm new to the list and have been reading everyones' posts with great
interest for awhile. I'm a network technician for a school system and
we are having a problem with students entering a content advisor
supervisor password in Internet Explorer 5.01. Can anyone tell me how
to reset and/or crack these passwords? Is it possible to script the
content advisor password entry out of IE? Thanks in advance for
anyone's help.
