    I am trying to determine whether lanman passwords are used with windows 98
    second edition. Microsoft's site only references how to disable them on NT
    4.0 and how windows 95 and earlier require them. Does this mean that
    windows 98 second edition does not use them or do they have to be disabled
    in a similar fashion to NT 4.0.
