    That's my experience, too. I'm in the UK so must be using a US-exported
    browser. It says it connects at 128-bits.

    This first came to light when I was renewing my SSL, but having to get help
    from Verisign (here in the UK) as IIS5 was having problems accepting the
    renewal. With the Verisign support person on the phone, we got it working and I
    expressed surprise at the 128-bit connection rather than the expected 40. He
    told me it was genuine. That's all I know. But if he knew it was a hacked
    version, he wasn't saying.
