There is IPSec built-in to Windows 2000/XP. Is there something specific
you're looking for? You can access the rules and enable it via the Local
Security Policy under the Administrative Tools.

There's some good documentation(including Best Practices, How To...,etc) on
    MSDN here:
    http://www.microsoft.com/TechNet/prodtechnol/winxppro/proddocs/sag_IPSECtopn
    ode.asp

There's also an interesting article about using it to block ports on a
    server here:
    http://www.microsoft.com/TechNet/itsolutions/network/maintain/security/ipsec
    ld.asp

Subject: Free/Shareware IPSec code or apps for Windows

Anyone know wher I can get sample source code for an IPSec client to run on
Windows (any flavor)? I want to see how it is built into the IP stack (or
    not).

Also, are there any free/shareware IPSec applications available for any
    versions of Windows?

    Thanks,

    AH
