Until you put the firewall on another subnet, it's going to happen. When
two devices are on the same subnet, they are not going to talk through a
router. That's a 'feature', not a bug; it's just the way things work.

Move the firewall to another subnet, and the problem will go away.

Subject: Dynamic Entries in IP Routing Table

Does anyone know how to stop the addition of dynamic routes on Win2000
    Machines?

...we have a firewall and a router on our local network, both one hop away
from the PCs. The router is the default gateway, but PCs still create route
    entries to the Firewall.

    Thanks,
    ~Todd
