The WWW-MOBILE-CODE Security list is designed to allow the discussion of
all issues that relate to web security and mobile code security. Whilst
lists like sec-prog, vuln-dev, bugtraq and pen-test covers some of the
ground, the world wide web and mobile code has its own set of often unique
issues, and as mobile code gets widely accepted in electronic commerce and
mobile commerce, security is becoming an increasingly important aspect.
The list is neither OS or language specific and so discussions about code
signing, digital certificates, Java, Active-X, .NET, WAP, CORBA, RMI,
HTTPS, TLS, WTLS for instance would all be considered on-topic.

This list will appeal to anyone involved in writing, securing, designing
or analyzing web based systems and / or mobile code.
