Actually the underlying web server is Apache, one can skim the security
recommendations in securing an Apache server but refer to HP's specific
permission settings regarding the ov/ directories.

Cool book is HP OPenview by Jill Huntingdon-Lee and Jeff Gibson. Whilst not
specific to HP Openview security you can see all the pitfalls and traps
pretty easily when combined with some brain on SNMP !

    All,
I've been recently troubled by the derth of information regarding
HP's OpenView software. Specifically, does anyone know of a good
paper written about this product with an eye towards security? I
can't sem to find anything that fits the bill, or even comes close.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    TIA,
