Hi all,
I've released a new version of SING (Send ICMP Nasty Garbage), a ping
evolution to play with IP/ICMP packets with many new features: MAC spoofing
(with libnet included in distribution), remote OS fingerprinting with ICMP,
fragmentation, etc.
Probably some of you know the program, maybe others not ;)
For those with a knowledge of 0, or maybe sqr(-1) ;), about the program you
can take a look to the Ofir Arkin paper "ICMP Usage in scanning". Anyway you
have a man page with the distrib. ;)
You can retrieve it at
http://www.s21sec.com/download/
The CVS version will continue available on Sourceforge at
http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/sing
:)
Hope do you find useful on your penetration tests,
Alfredo.
