Mapping networks is relatively easy...(I say that not offending network
people and having written ICMP, SNMP and NETBIOS tools to do it in the past;
and knowing the horrible false negatives you get when you hit a router acl
but .....). Somehow I need a CHEOPS type map of a web environment, ie not
a phyical I have this box here and that box there, but a I have this application
here and that application there, which all connect to this here.
Has anyone done this and do you have a methodolgy ? It seems to me that
spidering the site is only part of doing it. It will show links and paths
but not applications.
From the HTML how can I tell what application server is being used ?
Any good clues, advice, help ?
