I once had an admin who, during a domain name change, thought to change
NTFS permissions at the drive root level, ( ALL drives, to remove the
UNKNOWN accounts) and propogate permissions all the way down. Almost
drove 3 hours just to flog him to death. ( they were freshly built
servers that had just gone live. In infinite management wisdom, single
servers only, no spare machines.)
