Yesterday's talk about CSS on this list got me thinking about stoppng stuff with input filters....if your application doesn't pass binary input to say a C function, then could you stop buffer overflows payloads. Note payloads ! If you can't push bianry data to a function then its damn hard to contruct a decent payload.
