There was a great article on MSDN a while back (years at this point)
that showed the creation of a SOAP extension that would verify
incoming requests against a schema. Additionally there is quasi
support for schematron via Assert attributes. This allows for a very
powerful input validation of web services.
I have recommended this code over the years and am now providing a
supported distribution that includes updates for .NET Framework 2.0,
documentation, installer, etc.

It's been reported that 75% of websites are vulnerable to attack. That's
because hackers know to exploit weaknesses in web applications.
Traditional approaches to securing these assets no longer apply.
