I am sure I have seen a doc on Sans describing how to setup Snort on a PPP interface but I can not find it. Does anyone have any instructions on how to stop and start Snort when PPP starts and stops?

Also, if I use IPTables will Snort ever see the packets or do they get dropped before Snort?
