I am currently working on windows xp and have downloaded and
installed snort 1.8.7bwin32 and IDScenter1.09 and winpcap3. I have
the following problems.
I have the below statement in my command line and when I try testing
settings I receive and error

C:\snortwin32\Snort\snort.exe -c "C:\snortwin32\Snort\snort.conf" -l
"C:" -C -d -O -zall

!> IDScenter test console <:
Log directory = 1
Initializing Network Interface
        --===== Initializing Snort==--
 
[!] Error : can not get write access to logging directory "1".
        logging directory "1".

can any one help????.
