Hi guys,
I'm new to snort world so, first of all, excuse me for my simple
question
I'm trying to install snort on slackware 8.1 .
I downloaded all software I think I'll need: apache, mysql, php, acid
and snort.
How can I compile mysql to give snort support ?
I mean I know that compiling options for sql backend are in the snort
step but I need to compile mysql with some special options ?
Can you suggest me some step by step guide for intsalling snort
completely.
