this is in the archives.

the create_mysql file you're using is older and does not have the correct
syntax for the newer versions of mysql.

use the create_mysql file that is located within the contrib folder of your
untarred snort file.

hello!

i'm using snort 1.9.0 - mysql-3.23.52-3 - and RH 8.0 with kernel 2.4.19.

when i try to use create_mysql script that says:

mysql> source create_mysql
ERROR 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '[schema] (
vseq NUMERIC(10,0) NOT NULL,
                        ctime ' at line 1

how i'm solve this problem???
