Hi,
  I have completed the install of snort,but i can't
get required results.The message related to idmef
output plugin is followed as :"idmef: No stored alert
id. Continuing with alert id =1 ",why?
   Programs used by me is:
snort-1.9.0-idmef-1.1.tar.gz,libidmef-0.7.2.tar.gz,libxml2-2.5.4.tar.gz,ntp-4.1.1b.tar.gz.My
OS is RedHat 8.0.
    Who can give me any advice? 3x
