Make sure that MySQL is running and verify that the acid_config.php file
is setup correctly with username and password for mysql.

Also, check the snort.conf file and make sure that you have the output
line is enable to log to the correct sql database.

Hello to All,

            I'm a newbie with Snort and MySQL. I go to access the acid
main page and I get "Can't connect to local MySQL sever.

I looked over everything but I'm not sure what to look for. Can someone
point me in the right direction. My running Snort 2.0.4 and MySQL
4.0.17.
