Hi

I want to use SNORT as SERVICE. I have some problem while starting the service.

i've installed using the command

snort /SERVICE /INSTALL -i1 -dev -l C:\snort\log -c c:\snort\etc\snort.conf

it says snort installed sucessfully. when i start the service by the command

net start snortsvc

it says an error
--------------------------------
system error 5 has occurred.

Access is denied
--------------------------------

i was not able to fix the error, can any one help me in this regard,

My OS is Windows 2000 Advance Server and iam logged on as an Administrator.
