Hi everyone,

The application period for the 2008 Snort Scholarship program is now
open. More information, official rules and the application are
available at: http://www.sourcefire.com/products/snort/scholarship

Sourcefire will be awarding two $5,000 scholarships to eligible
university students who demonstrate their interest in Snort and the open
source community. As suggested by many of you, this year's scholarship
program is dedicated to the memories of Erek Adams and Patrick Harper.
Erek and Patrick made enormous contributions to the Snort community and
will be sorely missed. We hope that this scholarship program will bring
more people like them into the Snort and open source community.
