Hi everyone,

It’s been a while since Sourcefire hosted a virtual users group
presentation. But we are going to make it a regular event in 2008.

Ed Mendez, Director of Instructional Design for the Sourcefire Education
Team, will be the first speaker of 2008. Ed will present a one-hour
overview of how to install, configure and use Snort. This is a can’t
miss Webinar for anyone that is beginning to use Snort, would like a
refresher or is interested in using Snort.

The session will cover:

• Planning a deployment
• Preparing the installation platform
• Required software
• Performing the installation
• Basic Snort operation
• Tuning strategies
• Q&A
