        That's something I was thinking about too. From what I understand, there
    are two types of wireless keyboards: those that use RF and those that use
    IR. Infrared doesn't travel through walls so that pretty much rules out
    sniffing on this type of keyboard. The RF transmitters are rather weak... so
    you would have to be pretty close to the keyboard itself to receive any RF
    transmissions. I have one of these keyboards... but I haven't tested it
    through walls. I'd say I've been able to reach distances of about 8-10 feet
    with it though... I've been wondering if it would be possible to pick up
    transmissions say from upstairs or the next room. Does anyone know what
    frequency these things are on? I'm using a logitec wireless keyboard and
    mouse.
