I have experienced this problem myself. After I realized this was going on,
I did the following to correct the default settings installed by sp6:

Open DUN from 'my computer' (or your computer), select 'More' for the
offending Phone Book Entry, select the 'security' tab, click the 'Unsave
Passwords" button. After I did this, the phone book entry no longer
automatically provided the password. I am not sure if this resets all phone
book entries in DUN or just the current entry.
