What offending applications do you have installed?

A few of the more popular shareware programs have advertising banners built
into them and some even have the technology built into the program but do
not have it turned on.

As far as spying on what web pages you surf to... that's most likely illegal
(If the program even does spy on what webpages you go to). I would suggest
checking your licensing information to make sure the offending applications
do not have a claus that lets them do this. Most likely they do though if
they are indeed "spying."

Most of the programs I saw listed as "offending" applications can also be
found on:

Sniff the traffic that is being sent to ad2-1.aureate.com and see what's
being sent. If you do got and sniff it then send me a copy of the sniffed
data, off the list.
