Let me get this straight. The coffee is still brewing, and I'm not awake
yet. We have an 'advisory' telling us that an administrator can screw up the
system???
Hello? Excuse me. What about the "del c:\*" attack? Any admin can delete the
boot files, reboot the system, and it won't boot. Wow. A new DoS attack!
Ohmigod. I found this one by mistake back when I was running NT 3.5.
Somehow, I didn't feel like it was worth an 'advisory'.
Let's get something straight right away - the admin has the power to do
anything they like to the OS, including screw it up. This is NOT a new DoS
attack. It isn't worth an advisory. It might be worth a line or two in the
readme.txt of the cracking tool that does this.
Geeez...
